How to install and configure um-ronin-spawn
A cinematic spawn. The character wakes up at his own place, picks up a habit and walks to a fork: the window leads to any spawn point, the door to his saved places. On the way he may be caught in a cutscene, then he wakes up where he chose. Dead characters skip all of it and spawn at their last location.
Select Framework
Firstly
- Make sure your
qbx_coreversion is not old - Delete other spawn scripts like
qbx_spawn,qb-spawnorum-spawn
startingApartment = true ->> set falseMulticharacter
Auto Load
um-ronin-multicharacter detects um-ronin-spawn on its own and starts it for new and existing characters. Nothing to do.
Trigger this from the server once the character is loaded and the screen is faded out:
TriggerClientEvent('um-ronin-spawn:client:characterLoaded', src)A multicharacter set up for um-spawn keeps working: its um-spawn:client:startSpawnUI event is accepted too.
Starter Apartments
New Characters
A character that owns nothing gets a dedicated apartments screen and rents his first place from your housing script. Same convar as um-spawn.
setr um:NewPlayerApartmentInsideStart "true"| Housing script | Owned places | Starter apartment |

Server.cfg
Load Order
um-ronin-spawn must ensure after your housing script and before um-ronin-multicharacter. The multicharacter looks for it once, at its own start.

Multicharacter
Nothing to trigger. The spawn starts itself on esx:playerLoaded. A multicharacter on ESX must not spawn the player on its own. One set up for um-spawn keeps working: its exports['um-spawn']:UMSpawnStart(coords) call waits for this spawn to end.
Police Jobs
ESX has no job types, so list every law enforcement job by name:
